Kalkallo to Trentham, Sunday 5th March 2023

12 of us left Kalkallo on a sunny but windy Sunday, made our way north through Wandong to Broadford where we got mixed in with the Sportsbike Riders Club. This meant keeping an eye on your mirrors for them to zip past (not always safely), passing them at the next intersection while they figured out where to next (then repeat). We rode via Pyalong to Lancefield for morning break, and were joined by Andrew, Sam and Colin. (and David who apparently got confused with Ride Leaders u-turn, and other groups of riders in the mix !).
Then via Kyneton and back roads over Coliban Reservoir and down to Trentham for lunch. Plenty of good roads and interesting countryside, and even the Ride Leader confesses a couple of roads were new to him ! Most riders went off in separate directions home, most heading down the Calder Freeway.
Another very enjoyable day out in good company, including Gary (and Wendy) who has been absent on our rides for a few months after trying to cut a couple of fingers off (well healed now). Thanks to Pat for doing TEC.
