Ron Blomley

So sad to see Ron gone but also so happy to have known this true gentleman for the last five years or so. Ron loved the club and his bike and got so much out of life right to the end which was thankfully peaceful and elegant.

It was a privelege to know you Ron!

Very Sad News

I am truly saddened by this news.  I really enjoyed Ron's company and his willingness to help and advise.  My first ride as leader had 2 participants - Ron and I!!  I guess talking about that ride afterwards started a habit of casual consultation on rides I was going to lead - I enjoyed and benefitted significantly from his advice.

We'll all miss Ron, but so glad he went peacefully, riding virtually to the end.  Rest in peace Ron.

On behalf of members of TORRENS VALLEY Branch, South Australia, sincere sympathy to Ron's family.  We enjoyed his company and mirth when we used to travel over to MANSFIELD for your annual get together.  Lovely to note that Ron was still riding until recently.

We were looking forward to seeing all at NAGAMBIE in October to renew mateship we so much enjoyed at MANSFIELD on the many times we came over.

Remembered by BRIAN BREALEY and VIC BARNES.  RIP Ron.

This pic jumped into random pics just after I logged on and that says it all Ron was a great bloke a fantastic rider, to ride and play with, I was always proud of you riding so long and well when many could not have. We didn't catch up that much but when we did it was very memorable indeed! many a story to tell on some of our long weekend rides, we all salute you Ron and Ride on! Cheers Gaza. Keep Riding Keep Printing!

(I hope Gaza won't mind me copying this to here)

Farewell Ron

Ron amazed me with his passion for motorcycling. When most his age are looking for a retirement home, Ron was out riding and enjoying himself.

The photo from Gaza's post above was taken by me only a few weeks ago - Sunday 30th July - on a club ride to Marysville.

He will be sadly missed.
