All members are reminded of and invited to attend the Branch AGM at Donvale on Sunday 20 February 2010. Lunch will be provided after the formal meeting is over.
All members are welcome to nominate for any position on the committee and input is always welcome. Nominations have been received for all formal positions except that of secretary and we would really love to see some fresh faces on the committee to ensure the continuing health of the branch into the future.
I would particularly like to hear from someone who would consider accepting nomination to the position of branch secretary for the coming year.
It would be most advantageous for that person to have access to the internet and an email address to cope with current communication needs.
The secretary is the formal address for any person wishing to contact the branch and therefore a stable address is also advantageous for simple continuity. The essential parts of the role are receiving and sending communications plus preparing minutes of meetings (about 6 meetings per year) so if you think you can help to ensure the continuity of this branch from which we get so much, please consider it and contact me.
