Thanks for your help gents I think our wonderful site does not like iMacs and I could not move from comments to Blog, so help appreciated on a sad week and reading back on some earlier posts Ron has touched many a heart. Reading back further there has been more sad news. Take nothing for granted and stay smart and safe! Enjoy riding it keeps us sane! Gaza

I was shocked and saddened to

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ron's passing. To me he opitimised the spirit of Ulysses: a depth of experience and no plans to stop. He always seemed to have time and a friendly word for everyone. I'm glad he was riding till the end: if you've got to go then, like Bing Crosby on the golf course, that's the way to do it!  Vale Ron. Ron , you were my hero . You taught me so much about riding and yet you were the nicest bloke who would do anything to help anyone in trouble . I will never forget you Ron . Keep riding in the sky . I am pleased to say I knew Ron .

Motorcycle Escort for Ron Blomley's Funeral

Motorcyclists wishing to participate in the cortège for Ron's funeral are asked to assemble at Le Pine Funerals 388 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley (just north of Waverley Road) by 1.30 PM on Wednesday, 30 August to escort the procession to Bunurong Memorial Park for the service.

Ron's Farewell

Ron was given a great farewell today and his bike accompanied him to the service.
