The Committee is working on getting our social nights up and running again after the Covid interruption. We are still looking for a suitable venue and would appreciate any recommendations from Members.
This will be the final Snowy Ride to be organised by the Steven Walter Foundation.
I will be leading a group taking "the classic route" departing Melbourne Thursday 4th and returning on Tuesday 9th.
Please note that this does not coincide with Cup Weekend this year.
We will depart Yea at 09.00 on Thursday morning and travel to Mansfield, Whitfield, Myrtleford (lunch), Harrietville, Mt Hotham and Omeo to arrive at The Blue Duck Inn for the night. On Friday we will leave for Mitta Mitta, Tallangatta, Corryong and Khancoban before taking The Alpine Way to Thredbo.
We had a beautiful autumn day and 10 people joined me for the ride to Seymour. They included Andrew and his son in law, Colin, Jack, John M, Les, Pat, Samuel and Stewart plus Ian who was conscripted into TEC duty. Bike wise BMW was in the ascendancy with 4, Honda had 3 including my now low km ST1300 (the odometer reset to zero recently after 199,999 km!), a pair of very different Triumphs plus a pair of very different Yamahas.
