Early March, 2010 my mate, Nev and I set off on our Weestroms (Suzuki DL650A motor cycles), his a K7 and mine a K9, travelling from Melbourne, Victoria to Albany, Western Australia for the Ulysses Club 2010 Annual General Meeting. representing those Ulyssians who meet regularly in Elizabeth St every Saturday morning.

Idea's and Planning

One early August 2010 Saturday morning over hot, fresh coffee and crisp toasted egg and bacon sandwiches some of the Melbourne group who regularly meet in Elizabeth Street got to thinking about their next adventure.  Dates were selected and a route was roughed out on a paper napkin. 

Melbourne to .........Melbourne!       Its the via that made it interesting.

Is it a plane? .... Is it a bird? What were they looking at? You'll never guess but give it a try! Riders in Bob's Fathers Day ride are not permitted to enter!
