Here's a great YouTube video I found of someone hooning a BMW R1150GS around the Isle of Man TT circuit. You can really get a feel for what the big chookie is like to ride at speed.
Cheers, David Chisma

Bike Transport to Brisbane - Jeff Gordon - Posted: Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 19:30:09
Just wondering if anyone is going to transport their bike from Melbourne to Brisbane and ride from Brisbane to Townsville for the AGM?
My brother Steve (Tasmania) and I have had a quote for $485.00 (for one bike) each way, but we may be able to get a cheaper quote if a few of us are together. We would also appreciate riding in company from Brissy to Townsville.
Any information would be gratefully received.

Peter George, Shearwaters ride co-ordinator died tragically on the weekend. To his wife Joan and family, and the Shearwater branch, we extend our heartfelt sympathy. For those members wishing to attend Peter's funeral the details are:
Tuesday 18th March at 10.30am, Boyd chapel Springvale Necropolis, Princes highway Noble Park
As Peter's passion was motorcycling, Shearwaters with Joans consent, request that those attending with or withour motorcycles, be prepared to arrive in club shirts between 9.15 - 9.30am, to form a guard of honour for Peter on the approach to Boyd Chapel.
Joan has requested that flowers not be sent but instead donations in Peter's name be made to Ulysses Club Arthritis Research Fund or the Cranbourne CISS.

SWANPOOL FILMS - Brian Quintal - Updated: Saturday, March 01, 2008 at 08:59:51
JUNO. Clever, sharp and funny this coming of age comedy has 16 yo Juno (Ellen Page) as the spunky teenage heroine who finds herself pregnant. She decides to have the baby and find find worthy adoptive parents and trhen move on in life. Ellen Page gives a great performancein this wry comedy nominated for 4 Academy awards; best picture, best director, best actress and best screenplay.
WAITRESS. Vibrantly different comedy starring Kerri Russell as Jenna, pregnant, married to surly control freak Earl (Jeremy Sisto) she takes her frustrations out via fantastic pie creations (not meat) and cussing her baby via letters starting with "Dear baby..." Adrienne Shelly, who directs the film and plays a character actress (Dawn) in it was tragically murdered shortly before the film's launch at Sundance. The film is funny, endearing, with an almost impossible fairy-tale ending.

Ride Day Fire - David Chisma - Updated: Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 16:13:45
Hi all,
I had a fine time on the beemer at Broadford last weekend, but never expected to be in a YouTube video! Some poor bugger had his Yamaha R6 go up in flames after a crash. You can see the incident on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nQy72y6lU8. I'm the eighth to go by after the crash (right after the green machine).
Cheers, Dave Chisma
